1. Simply remove the cover and put large vegetable/fruit/garlic/onion pieces into the bowl. Then close the cover and lightly pull the string with your hand. The vegetable/fruit/garlic/onion pieces will be chopped/sliced by repeating 3-5 times or more if you want.

2. To get better results, fill around 1/3 of the bowl with onion or any ingredients you want to chop. Then grip the bowl with one hand and pull the cord by grip from other hand. Repeat the process until required chopping of ingredients is achieved.

3. When the bowl is empty, one pull will create about 10-20 rotations of the blades. However, after filling it with ingredients, the number of blade rotations depends on quantity and density of the material. For better results, pull the hand grip 5-6 times for coarse chopping, continue with around 10 for medium, around 14 for fine chopping and around 20 for pulp like chopping.
